We do not collect, upload, or store your health data, finance data, journals, goals, conversation transcripts, or any personal profile data on our servers. All of this lives on your device only.
When you use AI features, audio or text is sent to third-party APIs (Deepgram, Groq, Anthropic, OpenAI, Together AI) for processing. These providers do not retain your data after processing. None of these providers receive your health data, finance data, journals, or personal profile.
BrainUI records audio only when you explicitly start a session (Guardian Mode, Smart Listen, Talk Mode). You are always shown a clear active indicator. Recording laws vary by location — you are responsible for complying with local consent requirements.
All data stored on your device is encrypted using AES-256-GCM. Encryption keys never leave your device. We use Firebase for authentication only — no personal conversation data is stored in Firebase.
Auto Connect fetches API keys from our secure Railway server over HTTPS. No personal data is transmitted during this request — only a blank POST to retrieve keys.
BrainUI uses Firebase (auth), Deepgram (speech-to-text), Groq (AI inference), Anthropic Claude (AI analysis), OpenAI (AI processing), Together AI (AI processing), and RevenueCat (purchase management). None of these receive your health, finance, journal, or personal profile data.
Since your data is stored locally, you have complete control. Delete all data by uninstalling the app. Revoke permissions at any time in device settings. Stop AI processing by not using AI features. Contact us at privacy@brainui.app for any privacy questions.
BrainUI is intended for users 18 years and older. It involves audio recording and AI safety features designed for adults. We do not knowingly process data from minors.

You can request deletion of your BrainUI account and all associated data at any time. We process all requests within 30 days.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your local data is deleted immediately.
Send a request to support@brainui.app with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address linked to your BrainUI account. We respond within 2 business days.
